Knorpeltherapie: Wie ist die Evidenz?

Zusammenfassung

Lokalisierte Knorpelschäden am Hüftgelenk werden hauptsächlich durch präarthrotische Deformitäten wie das femoroazetabuläre Impingement (FAI) oder die residuelle Dysplasie ausgelöst. Die frühzeitige Beseitigung symptomatischer Deformitäten und relevanter Begleitpathologien kann die Progredienz lokalisierter Knorpelschäden verhindern. Knorpelläsionen sind meist am anterolateralen Azetabulum lokalisiert und können sowohl offen als auch arthroskopisch versorgt werden. Zur Behandlung eignen sich knochenmarkstimulierende Verfahren mit und ohne Applikation von Biomaterialien sowie zellbasierte Verfahren. In dem vorliegenden Artikel wird die Versorgungssituation von Knorpelläsionen basierend auf den Daten des Knorpelregisters der DGOU dargestellt und die aktuelle Studienlage zu allen knorpelreparativen Verfahren näher beleuchtet.
