Zusammenfassung

Inaktivität vermeiden, mindestens 150 Minuten moderate körperliche Aktivität pro Woche, dazu zweimal wöchentlich kräftigende Übungen für die Hauptmuskulatur sowie tägliche Dehnübungen, so lauteten die Empfehlungen für Krebspatienten des American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) aus dem Jahr 2010. Nun, etwa 10 Jahre später, am 16. Oktober 2019 wurden die neuen internationalen Leitlinienempfehlungen zu Sport und Bewegung in Prävention und Therapie von Krebserkrankungen durch das ACSM veröffentlicht.
