Kolorektales Karzinom bei chronisch entzündlichen Darmerkrankungen

Vermeidbar durch verbesserte Sekundärprävention?

Zusammenfassung

Patienten mit chronisch entzündlicher Darmerkrankung (CED) haben gegenüber der Normalbevölkerung ein deutlich erhöhtes Risiko, an einem kolorektalen Karzinom zu erkranken. Die Sekundärprävention kolorektaler Karzinome basiert auf der Entzündung-Neoplasie-Karzinom-Sequenz. Eine regelmäßige endoskopische Überwachung von Risikopatienten mit zufälligen und gezielten Biopsien aus makroskopisch auffälligen Arealen reduziert wohl die krebsbedingte Mortalität in dieser Gruppe. Neue Technologien zur verbesserten Detektion potenzieller Neoplasien im Kolon rücken in der Überwachungsstrategie bei CED zunehmend in den Fokus.
