Ergotherapie bei komplexem regionalem Schmerzsyndrom

Zusammenfassung

Die Ergotherapie ist als rehabilitatives Heilmittel ein essenzieller Teil der multimodalen Therapie bei einem komplexen regionalen Schmerzsyndrom („complex regional pain syndrome“ [CRPS]). Die Zielsetzung der Behandlung und die Methoden variieren bei diesem Krankheitsbild, da sie der wechselnden Symptomatik unterliegen. Teilweise bestehen überlappende und synergistische Behandlungsansätze mit der Physiotherapie. Für ein positives Behandlungsergebnis ist es wichtig, die Ergotherapie frühzeitig und kontinuierlich im Krankheitsverlauf durchzuführen. So können bereits beizeiten Behandlungsmethoden wie mentale Übungen oder Sensibilitätsübungen die Verarbeitung von schmerzauslösenden Wahrnehmungsreizen verbessern. Neben den klassischen Bewegungsübungen und der Hilfsmittelberatung können auch spezielle Behandlungsmethoden, wie die Spiegeltherapie, die neurokognitive Rehabilitation nach Perfetti oder das Graded-exposure-Konzept gewinnbringend für Patienten mit CRPS sein.
