Komplikationen bei der Ergometrie

Zusammenfassung

Das Belastungselektrokardiogramm stellt die Basis für die Diagnostik einer Ischämie bei koronarer Herzerkrankung dar. Bei der Durchführung der Fahrradergometrie oder der Laufbanduntersuchung können zusätzlich das Blutdruckverhalten, die körperliche Leistungsfähigkeit, die Trainingsherzfrequenz und möglicherweise auftretende Herzrhythmusstörungen beurteilt werden. Werden die Indikationen und Kontraindikationen für Belastungsuntersuchungen – sei es mit dem Fahrradergometer oder mit dem Laufband – beachtet, kommen schwerwiegende Komplikationen selten vor. Dennoch ist es für den durchführenden Arzt von Bedeutung, mögliche Komplikationen zu kennen und zu erkennen. In dieser Übersichtsarbeit wird vor allem auf die möglichen kardiovaskulären Komplikationen und deren Häufigkeiten eingegangen.
