Komplikationen nach Implantation inverser Schulterendoprothesen

Zusammenfassung

Die Zahl der schulterprothetischen Versorgungen steigt in Deutschland weiter an. Dabei werden Schaftprothesen seltener, schaftlose und insbesondere inverse Endoprothesen hingegen immer häufiger verwendet. Allein die Zahl der implantierten inversen Prothesen ist inzwischen auf mehr als 11.000 pro Jahr gestiegen. Mit einer Inzidenz zwischen 3 % bis mehr als 10% ist die Instabilität dieses Endoprothesentyps eine klinisch relevante Komplikation. Als wichtiger Risikofaktor gilt die fehlende Weichteilspannung.
