Zusammenfassung

Bleiben trotz aufwendiger kieferorthopädischer (KFO-)Therapien Lücken zwischen den Zähnen bestehen, verlangt es nach minimal-invasiven und zahnhartsubstanzschonenden Therapieoptionen zur Herstellung von Zahn-Zahn-Kontakten. Der Lückenschluss stabilisiert das KFO-Behandlungsergebnis. Direkte Formkorrekturen aus Kompositmaterial stellen eine maximal präventionsorientierte Alternative zu indirekten Versorgungen im Sinne von keramischen Veneers oder Kronen dar und sind indirekten Versorgungen vorzuziehen.
