Zusammenfassung

Die Skoliose ist eine komplexe, dreidimensionale Wirbelsäulendeformität unterschiedlicher Genese. Die adoleszente idiopathische Skoliose stellt die häufigste Form dar. Die Indikation zur operativen Therapie besteht ab einem Krümmungswinkel > 45–50° gemessen nach Cobb. Es werden rein dorsale, rein ventrale bzw. kombinierte operative Verfahren unterschieden. Das rein dorsale, transpedikuläre Vorgehen hat die Skoliosechirurgie revolutioniert. Dieser Beitrag gibt einen Überblick der operativen Möglichkeiten in der Skoliosechirurgie.
