Zusammenfassung

Narben sind das permanent verbleibende Zeichen tieferer Verletzungen der Haut und entstehen im Rahmen der physiologischen Wundheilung. In den Industrienationen entwickeln jährlich etwa 100 Millionen Menschen Narben infolge von operativen Eingriffen, Verbrennungen, Verletzungen oder Tätowierungen. Für die Prävention und Behandlung dieser Narben stehen heutzutage neben konventionellen Ansätzen verschiedene Lasersysteme zur Verfügung.
