Körperliche Aktivität ist eine kostengünstige Intervention in der Prävention und Therapie vieler metabolischer, kardiovaskulärer und neurodegenerativer Erkrankungen. Im Rahmen dieses Übersichtsartikels werden die positiven Effekte von sportlicher Betätigung, insbesondere die des Tanzens, auf die Vorbeugung von Demenz im Kontext des demografischen Wandels beschrieben.
