We have read with great interest the article by Li et al, titled “Feasibility study on the clinical application of CT-based synthetic brain T1-weighted MRI: comparison with conventional T1-weighted MRI” [
1]. We commend the authors for their novel investigation into the equivalence of CT-based synthetic T1-weighted imaging (sT1WI) to traditional T1-weighted MRI (T1WI) in assessing brain morphology. The study’s implications for improving clinical efficiency and patient experience are noteworthy.
