Dear Editor, We read with great interest the article by Ricci et al., titled "Combining Whole-Body Electromyostimulation and Dynamic Exercise After Bariatric Surgery: A Randomized, Double-Blind, and Sham-Controlled Trial," published in Obesity Surgery [
1]. The study explores the effects of whole-body electromyostimulation (WB-EMS) combined with dynamic exercise training (DET) on aerobic capacity, body composition, and psychological outcomes in post-bariatric surgery patients. We commend the authors for their rigorous methodology and valuable contributions to postoperative rehabilitation strategies.
