Hyponatremia was reported to occur with the use of antiepileptic drugs such as carbamazepine, oxcarbazepine, valproate, lamotrigine [
1], and lacosamide [
2]. A Pubmed search using the terms “levetiracetam” and “hyponatremia”, identified only 4 case reports [

6]. Three patients were predisposed to the development of the syndrome due to inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion (SIADH) [

6]. The fourth case, had no evident predisposition to SIADH, and presented with hyponatremia following two challenges with levetiracetam (LEV) [
