Structural characterization of Alpiniae oxyphyllae fructus polysaccharide 2 and its activation effects on RAW264.7 macrophages
2021, International ImmunopharmacologyCitation Excerpt :The results showed that AOFP2 was a homoglycan consisting of → 4)-α-D-Glcp-(1→, →4,6)-α-D-Glcp-(1 → and T-α-Glcp, with an average molecular weight of 44.3 kDa. AOFP2 was eluted by 0.2 M NaCl solution using a DEAE-52 cellulose column, while AOFP1 was eluted by dH2O [4]. The structures of the two polysaccharides were different.
Ethnopharmacological uses, phytochemistry, biological activities, and therapeutic applications of Alpinia oxyphylla Miquel: A review
2018, Journal of EthnopharmacologyCitation Excerpt :The vasodilation effects of A. oxyphylla were relevant to a large number of pharmacodynamic effects. Methanolic extract of the fruit of A. oxyphylla had calcium-antagonistic activity in the rabbit aorta (Shoji et al., 1984a). Just like verapamil and gallopamil, which have revealed selectively inhibition on the potassium chloride induced contraction of vascular smooth muscle.
