Part of the book series: NATO ASI Series ((NSSA,volume 247))

Abstract

Current theries of the pathogenesis of osteonecrosis have led surgeons to try to diagnose anf treat osteonecrosis very early in its course; before radiograpic changes become evident and sometimes even before pain develops (Ficatm,1980; Stulberg,1989,1990,1991).
