Abstract
Understanding the rapidly changing political machinations of professional psychology in its evolving clinical roles within hospitals is a little like trying to read the poker hand of a card player in the club car of a train that is speedily traveling west while you are sitting on the station platform. Unless you have very sharp eyes, and excellent timing and direct a lot of energy in the right direction, you will miss the whole picture.
