Zusammenfassung

Psychiatrische Notfallsituationen liegen dann vor, wenn die »psychische und soziale Integrität eines Individuums hochgradig gefährdet ist« (nach Allen 2002), z. B. durch Erregungszustände, Agitiertheit, Stupor oder Bewusstseinsstörungen. Auch akute Suizidalität stellt eine psychiatrische Notfallsituation dar.
