Zusammenfassung

Für manche Paare lässt sich mit den konventionellen Verfahren der Reproduktionsmedizin der Kinderwunsch nicht erfüllen. Dies ist z. B. bei Frauen der Fall, bei denen aufgrund einer Karzinomerkrankung eine Hysterektomie erfolgte oder bei denen aufgrund einer schwerwiegenden Grunderkrankung eine Schwangerschaft eine lebensbedrohliche Situation darstellen würde. Ist neben der Adoption oder einem Leben ohne Kinder die Leihmutterschaft für diese Paare eine Option?
