Zusammenfassung

Benzodiazepine gehören zu den in der Medizin häufig verordneten Medikamenten. Es ist Müller-Oerlinghausen (1992) beizupflichten, der auf den fahrlässigen Gebrauch von Arzneimittelverbrauchsdaten hinweist. Auch wenn Sedativa-/Hypnotikaverordnungen im Vergleich zu anderen Medikamentengruppen an 14. Stelle der verordnungsstärksten Indikationsgruppen gehören (Schwabe u. Paffrath 1990, zit. in Müller-Oerlinghausen 1992), ist gleichzeitig festzuhalten, daß die Anzahl der Verordnungen von Benzodiazepinen, insbesondere bezüglich ihres Einsatzes als Tagessedativa, ständig abgenommen hat.
