Zusammenfassung

Der Begriff Aneurysma stammt aus dem Griechischen und meint Aufweitung, Erweiterung. Es werden im medizinischen Sprachgebrauch 3 besondere pathologisch-anatomische Formen umschriebener oder segmentförmiger Arterienwandveränderungen als Aneurysma bezeichnet:

  • • Aneurysma verum,

  • • Aneurysma dissecans,

  • • Aneurysma spurium oder Aneurysma falsum.
