Hautveränderungen durch Ernährungsstörungen, Adipositas und Vitaminosen

Zusammenfassung

Eine Ernährungsstörung resultiert aus einer quantitativ und/oder qualitativ inadäquaten Aufnahme (Unter-, Fehl- oder Überernährung) und/oder Metabolisierung (Malabsorptionssyndrome, enzymatische Defekte) von Nährstoffen. Die Ursachen für Ernährungsstörungen können sowohl psychischer als auch physischer Natur sein. Eine Ernährungsstörung kann isoliert einzelne Nährstoffe (wie Kohlenhydrate, Fette, Proteine, Vitamine, Spurenelemente, Mineralstoffe) oder eine Nährstoffkombination betreffen. Eine Ernährungsstörung kann unmittelbar Hautveränderungen induzieren oder die Integrität des Gesamtorganismus verletzen und auf diesem Wege den Hautzustand beeinflussen. Ernährungsstörungen betreffen keinesfalls nur Entwicklungsländer; in Mitteleuropa sind Ernährungsstörungen ebenfalls weit verbreitet, hier jedoch mit einem Schwerpunkt im Bereich der Essstörungen und der Hyperalimentation. Einen groben Anhalt über den Ernährungszustand können verschiedene Indizes liefern.
