Spontaneous rupture of a pancreatic pseudocyst into the portal vein

Abstract

Spontaneous rapture of a pancreatic pseudocyst into the portal vein is described. This has been previously reported in only five cases. Diagnosis was made by computed tomography (CT) and was confirmed by CT-guided transhepatic portography.
