Zusammenfassung

Die Akupunktur-Analgesie bei der Tonsillektomie, in ca. 70–80% der Fälle anwendbar, ist indiziert bei Kontraindikation gegen Narkose, bei sog. Risikofällen, kreislauflabilen Patienten und bei Allergie gegen Lokalanaesthetica. Mit dieser Methode kann die Tonsillenoperation bei Erwachsenen schmerzfrei und schonend durchgeführt werden; der postoperative Verlauf ist vielfach weniger schmerzhaft und verkürzt.
