Wirkung gegen Hautkrebs und Lichtalterung

Zusammenfassung

Während tierexperimentelle Studien eindeutig ergeben haben, dass topische Lichtschutzmittel vor dem UV-induzierten spinozellulären Karzinom sowie Lichtalterung (Photoaging; Veränderungen an kollagenen und elastischen Fasern der Haut) schützen können, und auch klinische Daten sowie Ergebnisse an Surrogate-Markern auf derart protektive Wirkungen beim Menschen hinweisen, fehlen die Daten entsprechender klinisch kontrollierter Studien zum endgültigen Beweis beim Menschen noch. Beim Melanom und Basaliom sind die vorhandenen Daten nicht ausreichend, um endgültige Schlussfolgerungen über die kanzeropräventive Wirkung von Lichtschutzmitteln ziehen zu können.
