Zusammenfassung

Die Behandlung von Hyperpigmentierungsstörungen kann ein langwieriger Prozess sein. Es gibt mehrere topische Therapieoptionen, wobei Hydrochinon am häufigsten verwendet wird. Sowohl Kombinations- als auch Monotherapien kommen zum Einsatz. Diese Behandlungsoptionen gelten primär für epidermale Hyperpigmentierungsstörungen. Dermale Hyperpigmentierungsstörungen können mit den derzeit zur Verfügung stehenden Therapien noch nicht effektiv behandelt werden. Die kosmetische Entstellung durch Hypomelanose, insbesondere Vitiligo, kann die Patienten schwer beeinträchtigen. Bisher gibt es kein definitives Heilmittel. Bei Kombinationstherapien wird in der Regel über bessere kosmetische Ergebnisse berichtet.
