Prinzipien der Behandlung und Schutz für empfindliche Haut

Zusammenfassung

Patienten mit empfindlicher Haut klagen über Juckreiz, Brennen bzw. Stechen oder Spannungsgefühl der Haut bis hin zu Schmerzen nach Auftragen von Externa oder Exposition gegenüber bestimmten Umwelteinflüssen. In den meisten Fällen empfindlicher Haut bleibt die Ursache unklar. Nur bei wenigen Patienten kann eine allergische Kontaktdermatitis, toxisch-irritative Dermatitis oder Kontakturtikaria eindeutig diagnostiziert werden. Nach Ausschluss bekannter exogener oder endogener Ursachen sollte der Patient über die Charakteristika empfindlicher Haut aufgeklärt werden. Potenziell irritierende Substanzen und Verfahren sollten weitgehend gemieden oder zurückhaltend eingesetzt werden.
