Zusammenfassung

Die Verwendung von autologen Knorpel-Perichondrium-Transplantaten ist heutzutage fester Bestandteil der rekonstruktiven Mittelohrchirurgie. Solche Transplantate eignen sich v. a. für Situationen, bei denen die Steifigkeit und Bradytrophie des Knorpels vorteilhaft ist (Adhäsivprozesse, Retraktionstaschen, Subtotaldefekte, Revisionseingriffe etc.). Von den zahlreichen Techniken werden die Knorpelinsel- und die Palisadentechnik als die wichtigsten herausgestellt und gemeinsam mit ihren Modifikationen kritisch beschrieben. Beide Techniken zeigen überwiegend gute funktionelle und morphologische Resultate und sollten je nach ohrchirurgischer Anforderung individuell ausgewählt werden. Die Daten experimenteller Untersuchungen fließen in die Entscheidung ein, welcher Technik der Vorzug gegeben werden sollte.
