Zusammenfassung

Insbesondere bei anbehandelten Gehörgangsentzündungen kann klinisch nicht immer zwischen einer bakteriellen Otitis externa, einer Otomykose oder einer Mischinfektion unterschieden werden. Zusätzlich bestehende Trommelfellperforationen sind häufig nicht sofort erkennbar. Die Verwendung eines Antiseptikums mit breitem Wirkspektrum und ohne innenohrtoxische Wirkung wäre daher von Vorteil. Wir berichten über eine Patientin, deren therapieresistente Otitis externa mit Trommelfellperforation durch eine lokale Behandlung mit einem Gemisch aus 1% N-Chlortaurin (NCT) und 0,1% Dexamethason erfolgreich therapiert wurde.
