Zusammenfassung

Die weibliche sexuelle Dysfunktion („female sexual dysfunction“, FSD) ist ein weit verbreitetes Leiden mit einer Prävalenz in Deutschland von etwa 38%. Störungen der weiblichen Sexualität betreffen bleibende oder wiederkehrende Beeinträchtigungen der Libido, der subjektiven und genitalen Erregung, der Orgasmusfähigkeit und koital verursachte Schmerzen. Es werden eine Übersicht über die Epidemiologie, die aktuellen Definitionen der einzelnen Bereiche der FSD und die Pathophysiologie sowie Empfehlungen zur Therapie gegeben.
