Zusammenfassung

Patienten mit generalisierten, stressinduzierten Schmerzstörungen weisen neben den Schmerzen häufig starke Beeinträchtigungen des alltäglichen Funktionsniveaus und ausgeprägte, dysfunktionale Interaktionsmuster auf. Kognitiv-verhaltenstherapeutische Schmerzbewältigungsprogramme greifen bei dieser Patientengruppe meist zu kurz. Die interaktionelle (störungsspezifische) Gruppentherapie stellt eine Möglichkeit dar, dysfunktionale Interaktionsmuster so zu verändern, dass es zum Rückgang der Stressbelastung und damit der assoziierten Schmerzsymptomatik kommt. Hintergrund und zentrale Aspekte der Behandlungsmethode werden dargestellt.
