Zusammenfassung

Diese Übersicht knüpft an frühere Zusammenfassungen von Arbeiten zur Gruppentherapieforschung an, die sich vornehmlich der Frage nach der Wirksamkeit von Gruppentherapien bei unterschiedlichen Störungsbildern widmeten. Mittlerweile sind vermehrt Metaanalysen zu dieser Frage vorgelegt worden, die zusammenfassend dargestellt und durch Befunde ergänzt werden, die sich auf Gruppenbehandlungen bei Krebserkrankungen und Schmerz beziehen. Die Befundlage erscheint äußerst günstig für Gruppentherapien und deutet eine Äquivalenz der Wirksamkeit mit Einzeltherapien an. Neben allgemeinen Wirksamkeitsstudien wurden in jüngster Zeit vermehrt Studien zur Wirkung von Feedback auf den Therapieverlauf in Gruppentherapien sowie Metaanalysen zu den Rollen von Allianz und Kohäsion für die Behandlungsergebnisse von Gruppen durchgeführt. Weitere vielversprechende Entwicklungen im Bereich der Gruppentherapieforschung werden skizziert.
