Zusammenfassung

Infektionen spielen bei Organtransplantierten eine große Rolle als mögliche Komplikationen. Hierbei sind Infektionen mit Viren, Bakterien, Pilzen und Parasiten möglich. Die Häufigkeit einzelner Erkrankungen ist auch vom transplantierten Organ abhängig. Die Morphologie der Entzündungsreaktion ist meist durch das schädigende Agens vorgegeben, wobei jedoch häufig verschiedene Reaktionsformen auf den gleichen Erreger möglich sind und verschiedene Erreger die gleiche Reaktionsform bedingen können. Die Histologie gestattet daher nur in wenigen Fällen eine konkrete Bestimmung des Erregers, sodass eine zusätzliche mikrobiologische Erregerdiagnostik erforderlich ist. Das Ergebnis dieser Diagnostik sollte dem Pathologen mitgeteilt werden, damit eine Abgrenzung von infektionsbedingten Veränderungen gegenüber einer Abstoßungsreaktion möglich wird.
