Die vorliegende Leitlinie formuliert folgende Ziele:
  • Festlegung des diagnostischen Vorgehens bei akuter Verätzung am Auge
  • Festlegung des therapeutischen Vorgehens (konservativ und chirurgisch) bei akuter Verätzung am Auge
  • Festlegung der Notwendigkeit zur ambulanten vs. stationären Versorgung bei akuter Verätzung am Auge
  • Festlegung der Nachsorge bei akuter Verätzung am Auge
