The clinical features of genitourinary tuberculosis are variable and insidious. Symptoms vary, but may appear when bladder impairment develops. Increased frequency of urination, urgency, dysuria, and hematuria are the most common manifestations of genitourinary tuberculosis (50.5%, 37.9%, and 35.6% respectively). Abdominal and/or flank pain, epididymal symptoms (in male patients), fever, and malaise have also been reported [1]. On physical examination, scrotal abnormalities were reported in 48.9% of male patients. Owing to insidious progression, nonspecific symptoms, and lack of physician awareness, the diagnosis is infrequently made before severe urogenital lesions develop. …
