Algorithmus zum Vorgehen beim kindlichen Koma

Zusammenfassung

Der vorliegende Artikel widmet sich dem pädiatrischen Notfall „Bewusstseinstörung und Koma“. Er konzentriert sich auf das pragmatische Vorgehen aus der Sicht des Notarztes und Rettungsdienstes in der prähospitalen,  außerklinischen Phase. Für wichtige Schnittstellen zwischen Notarzt und aufnehmender Intensivstation werden punktuell Hinweise auf die innerklinische Anschlussversorgung gegeben. Der vorgestellte Algorithmus ist ausgelegt auf die Alarmierungsbilder „bewusstloses Kind“ oder „bewusstseinsgestörtes Kind“. Dies entspricht allen Situationen mit einem Wert in der Glasgow Coma Scale unter 15 Punkten.
