Zusammenfassung

Die zystische und die alveoläre Echinokokkose sind in Deutschland zwar seltene, aber lebensbedrohliche Erkrankungen. Sie unterscheiden sich hinsichtlich Diagnostik, Klinik und Prognose wesentlich voneinander, wie Sie im Folgenden erfahren werden.
