Our study also showed cardiac reverse remodeling was not improved remarkably in the patients with ED after SAVR compared with those without ED [31].

Furthermore, it alters the sequence of activation of the left ventricle starting at the apex and ending at the base (Sade et al. 2009; Askenazi et al. 1984; Rosenqvist et al. 1991; Harper et al. 1991). These changes over time lead to a decline in left ventricular systolic function and filling time.
