Aspirin-triggered 15-epi-lipoxin A4 (15-epi-LXA4) is an epimer of endogenous lipoxin-A4 (LXA4), a potent endogenous anti-inflammatory lipoxin [10,21]. Shanmnugalingam et al concluded that maternal plasma levels of LXA4 in is lower in high-risk pregnant subjects compared to low-risk pregnant controls [22].
