Studies designed to see if treatment for LHF also ameliorates RHF failed to show benefit because these studies were underpowered or mechanisms of injury and repair might differ.296-299 Patients with RHF secondary to congenital heart disease or secondary to PH should be referred early to specialized clinics for investigations and management.300,301
