A post-thyroidectomy fatality due to a silent pedunculated meningioma of the fourth ventricle of the brain

Abstract

A case of post-thyroidectomy fatality due to a silent pedunculated fibroblastic tumor of the fourth ventricle of the brain is reported.

An appeal for postmortem examinations in all surgical fatalities is made.
