2021, Contemporary Clinical TrialsCitation Excerpt :The few community-based interventions targeting chronic disease prevention among Black men include the Black Barbershop Health Outreach Program [28,29]; Men on the Move, a tailored physical activity and chronic disease prevention intervention; and church-based programming targeting prostate cancer [28,30–33]. While a good start, these interventions warrant further investigation [28]. Since 2010, the Men of Color Health Awareness (MOCHA) program has brought together cohorts of low/no-income, mostly Black men, with the aim of improving the health of men of color [12,13].
