EqHV positive animals showed slight increase of glutamate-oxaloacetate transaminase (GOT) or aspartate aminotransferase (AST), glutamic pyruvic transaminase (GPT) [17,23], glutamate dehydrogenase (GLDH) and gamma-glutamyltransferase (GGT) [15–19, 39]. Mild increase of GGT levels were identified in more than one article, except one EqHV positive animal that had a highly increased GGT level [16].
