Previous studies have demonstrated the feasibility of laparoscopic-vaginal treatment of deep infiltrating endometriosis with good results in terms of improvement in symptoms, infertility, and quality of life [3–8]. We report a prospective observational study on a systematic surgical approach combining vaginal and laparoscopic steps in patients with deep recto-vaginal endometriosis infiltrating the vaginal wall, without full thickness bowel involvement.
