This article discusses nondiabetic forms of ischemic neuropathy. Limb ischemia from arterial atherosclerosis and emboli are ubiquitous and may result in neuropathy, skin ulceration, and limb loss. Vasculitis and amyloidosis are uncommon, but can be associated with ischemic neuropathy. A review of the pathophysiology, clinical characteristics, electrodiagnostic presentation and treatment of subclasses of ischemic neuropathy is provided.
