There is evidence of geographic variation in the occurrence of Paget’s disease. Radiological surveys undertaken in hospital-based patients suggest a relatively high prevalence in Britain, Australia, and New Zealand.1 In contrast, prevalence has been reported to be low in Scandinavia and several southern European countries including Spain, Italy, and Greece.3 Although the condition is not often seen by radiologists in Portugal,3 there are no data concerning its prevalence in Portuguese
