    However, it may be secondary to skeletal deformities, therefore not being directly associated to OPG deficiency. Tracheal intubation was difficult or impossible in some JPD patient [23,40], possibly because of mineralization of laryngeal elastic cartilage [23]; this is in line with the fixed and not liftable epiglottis reported in one case [40]. Paranasal sinus aplasia has been described in one case [41].
