Highlights
► Maintenance of immunity is proposed as an essential part of prevention and infection. ► Control schemes and vaccinations is strongly recommended for health-care workers (HCWs). ► Immunization of HCWs: immunity rate, screening cost, vaccines and side effects must be considered. ► Despite the availability of cheap vaccines, the prescreening of HCWs seems rational.
