Einleitung
Massenmediale Gesundheitskampagnen gibt es seit Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts. Ihr Problem ist, dass sie häufig in ihrer Effektivität begrenzt sind, während interpersonale Maßnahmen der Gesundheitsförderung effektiv, aber nicht kosteneffizient einsetzbar sind. Ein Weg zur Verbesserung der Effektivität liegt in einer stärkeren theoretischen Fundierung durch Integration gesundheits- und kognitionspsychologischer sowie kommunikationswissenschaftlicher Erkenntnisse.
