Remote nerve fibre bundle alterations in the retina as caused by argon laser photocoagulation

Abstract

CONSIDERABLE information has been accumulated on the morphological characteristics of retinal lesions produced by laser sources1–4. The argon laser is the most widely used energy source for clinical photocoagulation because of its optical and operational qualities.
