Remifentanil for use during conscious sedation in outpatient oral surgery
Anesthesia practice in dentistry continues to progress from nitrous oxide to the variety of oral, inhalation, and parenteral agents in today's armamentarium. Anesthesia has advanced to the point where we now have agents that allow us to achieve specific effects, such as anxiolysis, sedation, analgesia, and amnesia.
